Qualifications:

  • Master窶冱 Degree and two years related experience or Bachelors Degree and four years experience specifically related the position
  • Associates Degree and four years experience or CAC and 4 years experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of alcoholism and other addictions with particular awareness of the needs of addicted adolescents
  • Ability to use therapeutic skills essential to assisting clients in process of recovery
  • Competence in individual, group therapy and family intervention
  • Ability to serve as a role model

Description:ツThe mission of the Bridge is to decrease substance abuse, promote recovery and healthy lifestyles, and encourage successful community involvement among adolescents by providing a continuum of services to address the client窶冱 physical, psychological, educational, vocational and spiritual needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To implement the recovery process as defined by The Bridge窶冱 program goals and philosophy. Provide individual, group and family therapy
  • Provide at least three group therapy sessions per week. Consistently score no lower than 13 on Group Therapy Evaluation Form
  • Provide individual therapy sessions at least once per week to meet DDAP service objective
  • Participate in concurrent review process to ensure continuous funding
  • Provide family therapy on a twice monthly basis and complete appropriate documentation
  • Maintain communication with client family members and/or significant others and complete appropriate documentation
  • Attend Monday Morning Meeting and a minimum of one lunch time community meeting weekly
  • Serve as the designated Therapist of the Day one day per week
  • Participate in weekly therapist meetings and weekly staff meetings and daily kick-off meeting
  • Direct monthly staffing
  • Convene weekly treatment team meetings
  • Complete chart work in residents窶 file and maintain to meet all standards, using computer, if applicabl
  • Provide Counselors with accurate, detailed list of weekend passes and visitor lists
  • Ensure that Counselors receive up-to-date written information in the log concerning the physical and emotional status of each resident each day
  • Alert Clinical Director/Medical Director to any current or potential behavior/medical problems of residents
  • Maintain continuous record of all contacts, events, and progress toward accomplishment of goals as stated in Treatment Plan
  • Review and document client progress
