Director of Outpatient Services – Genesis House
Genesis House, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing substance abuse counseling services that is seeking a results-driven individual to serve as its next Director of Outpatient Services. This individual will create, plan, direct, and implement the policies, procedures, strategies, and objectives for Genesis House, Inc. The incumbent ensures high quality of care and programming services for clients by coordinating operational and clinical procedures with management staff. Additionally, this position monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs through EBP and oversees the departmental managers.
Genesis House, Inc.’s mission is providing individualized treatment and clinically appropriate services that will assist the individual and family in treating all components of substance abuse disorder, addiction, and dual diagnosis. The Director of Outpatient Services will partner with leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives as Genesis House, Inc., continues to enhance its services.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Ability to manage clinical programs
Thorough experience in social services in a behavioral health setting
Ability to work with and service all levels of an organization; developing strong partnerships with internal colleagues as well as external strategic partners
Ability to work under stressful conditions, to respond immediately to crisis situations, and to balance priorities
Ability to establish, monitor, and achieve objectives through skillful delegation of duties
Proven ability to develop and carry out strategic initiatives with set deadlines
Proven ability to help individuals and teams develop, grow, and succeed
Ability to ensure financial stability, by participating in budget planning and oversight, including monitoring of goals and objectives, and programmatic spending
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and five (5) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of social services with an emphasis on the behavioral health setting, and a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience. Previous experience in outpatient healthcare preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Location: Williamsport, PA; Harrisburg, PA; Bloomsburg, PA; Elizabethville, PA. Travel required at least 60% of the time.
