Title: Recovery Specialist to the Warm Hand-Off for Overdose Survivors Program (YORK)
Qualifications: Minimum requirements for the Recovery Specialist for the Warm Hand-Off for Overdose Survivors (WHOS) position include, but are not limited to: those with an associates degree or higher, related work experience, and a minimum of two years of uninterrupted recovery. Please note that this position includes on call hours.
Description: Duties include, but are not limited to: Emergency Responder Services, field emergency calls, execute protocols obtained from training in overdose protocol, develop rapport with emergency departments and their personnel in York and Adams counties, complete Level of Care Assessments, assure participant obtain the appropriate level of care, and assure participants reintegrate to society and social settings upon receiving appropriate level of care.
