United in Recovery “Summer Recovery Picnic”

You are cordially invited to attend the Second Annual United in Recovery “Summer Recovery Picnic” to be held at Briar Creek Lake in Berwick on Thursday, 6/15/2023 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. There will be free food, music, recovery testimonials, and community organizations providing recovery resource material. There is no fee to participate; however, you must bring your own setup (table, chairs, materials, etc). The event will be held rain or shine.
As most of you know, United in Recovery (www.unitedinrecovery.org) is a program under the Susquehanna Valley United Way that works to reduce overdose deaths and increase the number of community residents in recovery by improving access to education and treatment. We focus on prevention, education and community support around substance use disorder (SUD), co-occurring mental health diagnoses, sustained recovery support, and decreasing the overdose rates within our 5-county service area.
